About the Artist & Jewelry

Kristen Sciberras

Owner & Fabricator

Kristen is a Canadian silversmith whose work is deeply shaped by time spent in Mexico, where silver craftsmanship and artistry are woven into everyday life. Early exposure to this culture sparked a lifelong fascination with the metal, form, and the quiet power of handmade objects.

A natural collector and lifelong beachcomber, Kristen has always been drawn to the ocean; its textures, rhythm, and sense of grounding. This connection informs not only her creative vision, but her way of moving through the world: observant, intentional, and deeply tactile.

Her creative process is rooted in slow making, curiosity, and respect for natural materials. Each piece begins with careful sourcing and thoughtful selection, guided by intuition and a reverence for imperfection. Through her work, Kristen seeks to create objects that feel confident, grounded, and emotionally resonant; designed to be lived in, layered, and carried through time.

About SlvrTide

Each piece is designed as a quiet statement; grounded, confident, and intentionally one of a kind. The work draws from the ocean’s textures and forms, translating them into wearable objects that feel both organic and enduring.

Solid 925 silver is paired with ethically hand-collected seashells, carefully selected stones, and real, ethically sourced butterfly wings. Every element is chosen for its natural beauty and individual character, allowing no two pieces to ever be the same. Subtle irregularities are embraced, reflecting the movement of water, softened shorelines, and the imperfect elegance found in nature.

The jewelry is created in small batches through a slow, considered process. From sourcing to construction to final presentation, each piece is handled with intention and care. These are not trend-driven designs, but lasting objects meant to be worn daily, layered effortlessly, and carried through time.

Made for ocean lovers and landlocked mermaids alike, the pieces are designed to feel personal; like holding a fragment of the sea, wherever you go.
